Stubbington Green Runners

IT'S 97 days and counting - well, it was at the time of writing this piece of poetic prose, writes Michelle Simpson.

That's the date of the Stubbington Green Runners' Gala Dinner & Dance.

There will be nowhere better to be on Saturday, November 25th than Abshot Hotel & Country Club in Titchfield Common. All the best people will be there (.and maybe a few rogues if they are lucky!). The truth is if your name's not down you won't be coming in..so hurry!

The social committee are hoping you will all book your table spaces early so they can ensure you have a fantastic evening.

We hope to cater for all tastes (no public hangings if we don't get it right!) Just let us know what it is you are looking for from the night and we'll do our best!).

The menu (pdf) is mouth-watering and varied; if you haven't already, just take a look! (pdf) The comperes for the evening are sure to have your sides splitting with their wit, charm and in some instance their honesty!

If this isn't enough for Saturday night exercise, then you can "strut your funky stuff", wiggle or waltz your way around the dance floor afterwards.

Too much like hard work? Then make good use of the lounge area to have a coffee and a chat or introduce yourself to those members you have just met!

If I may indulge myself in being serious now....please please don't put off making a decision, thinking about it later, thinking you'd like to go and not actually do anything about booking your seats. We are going to be putting in a great deal of time and effort to make this night a FANTASTIC one. The truth is that it won't be WITHOUT YOU!
