Among new races which have just come in are the Ryde 10 on Sunday, January 29th, a new race which starts and finishes close to the ferry terminal at Ryde. That same day, there is the popular Hampshire Chronicle 5 in Romsey.
If you fancy something a little light-hearted, and maybe enjoy dressing up, then how about the Santa Fun Run, a 5km race around the Hampshire Rose Bowl on Sunday, December 18th in aid of the Hampshire Autistic Society?
Of to shake off the Christmas pud, there is the Round The Lakes 10km race in Poole on Boxing Day.
The race diary lists all the up and coming cross country fixtures for the Hampshire and Wessex leagues, as well as the Today's Runner.
Andy Simpson is still on the prowl for runners competing this Sunday, either in the Today's Runner race at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park near Petersfield in the morning, or in the Wessex Cross Country League fixture at Salisbury in the afternoon.
