HRRL Update
STUBBINGTON'S mens team lie in fifth place overall after the third round of the Hampshire Road Race League.
Revised squad standings, show that Stubbington placed joint third with Denmead Striders at the Lordshill 10km on Sunday - their best placing so far after eighth at Overton and fifth at Hardley.
After three rounds, Stubbington sit half way in the 10-team Division 1, with Southampton Running Club and Winchester out in front.
In the B Division, Stubbington men's packed well at Lordshill to finish sixth in the team rankings, but lie 13th overall.
Despite fielding an incomplete team at Lordshill, Stubbington's ladies lie second overall in Division 2, with seemingly all to play for in terms of promotion to the top flight.
The next round of the Hampshire Road Race League is the Hayling 10 on Sunday, November 27.
