Cycling Challenge

Caroline & Glen Street

THEY'RE mad, but Caroline and Glen Street are at it again!

The fitness fanatics and Stubby members from Titchfield are gearing up for a mammoth 500-mile cycle ride over three days this autumn. The dynamic duo are taking part in the Brittany Challenge 2005 to raise money for charity.

Caroline, she of the Ironman triathlon, will be supporting the Rainbow Centre based in Fareham, which helps children with cerebral palsy www.rainbowcentre.org, while Glen will be jumping on his bike to raise money for the Stroke Association www.stroke.org.uk.

Caroline and Glen will be seeting off over the weekend of Friday, October 7th to Sunday, October 9th, and they are keen to hear from anyone who wants to sponsor them. Anyone who would like to make a donation can ring them on 01329-845330, or e-mail Glen at gstreet@gresham-computing.com.

This event is being organised by Wessex Heartbeat, taking over from Challenge Adventure Charities as one of the south's biggest fund-raising events. More details can be found at www.heartbeatcyclechallenge.org.uk .
