This was an excellent
turnout in north Hampshire for the first Hants Road Race League fixture. 18
runners completed a tough, hot 5 miler. Tony Allen was well inside the top ten
when unfortunately his recent virus forced him to stop, and young Owen Wylie
ran 6 minute miles to win the 2.5 mile fun run.
Our ladies ‘A’ team of
Maria, Chris and Jane finished 9th in Div 1. They would have
finished 1st in Div 2!

The mens ‘A’ team finished 5th
in Div 1, a decent start, close to the third team but some way short of Denmead
and
